The FCT VS range was created to meet the latest energy saving and low environmental impact market demands. This range combines the experience gained with environmentally friendly gases used in the FCT range and the inverter technology (Variable Speed) applied to the ACT VS; this brings the advantages of both ranges in a single solution. The low environmental impact R513A refrigerant gas combined with a variable speed operation is the height of technological evolution and maximises respect for the environment. By using inverters, it is possible to modulate the electrical power input by the scroll compressor and fans according to the thermal load required by the user.

Main advantages are:

  • greater environmental friendliness;
  • reduced running cost;
  • optimised consumption and performance under all load conditions.

The graph compares the power consumption of the FCT VS dryer to the equivalent standard FCT model at different load conditions. The various operating modes of the FCT VS dryer which can be set directly from the controller display are represented on the right of the graph.

  • Ambient temperature: + 45°C
  • Inlet air pressure: 14 barg
  • Inlet air temperature: + 70°C

Data refer to the following nominal condition: ambient temperature + 25 °C; inlet air pressure 7 barg; inlet air temperature +35 °C.
