AFR air-to-air coolers are the ideal solution for cooling compressed air to a temperature close to ambient levels (ΔT +10°C under design conditions). AFR consists of a painted support frame, an air-to-air exchanger with copper tubes and aluminium fins suitably sized to optimise heat exchange and minimise pressure drops, one or more fans with electric motor and a CCS to remove condensed water. For situations where an electrical power supply is unavailable, an air motor version can be provided on demand.

MAXIMUM WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Inlet air pressure: 15 barg
  • Inlet air temperature: + 170°C

Data refer to the following nominal condition: ambient temperature 25°C; inlet air pressure 7 barg: inlet air temperature +120 °C; outlet air temperature approx. +10°C compared to ambient temperature.

  • MDR04 manual condensate drain
  • For AFR210÷750: counter-flanges and EN 1092-1 gaskets included.
